The mission of My Friend's Place is to assist and inspire homeless youth to build self-sufficient lives. From their early beginnings as a volunteer-based group serving meals from the trunks of cars to the dynamic resource center in operation today, My Friend's Place offers comprehensive services to nearly 1,400 youth experiencing homelessness between the ages of 12 and 25, and their children, each year, helping our homeless young people move toward wellness, stability and self-sufficiency.�

A New Way of Life Reentry Project
A New Way of Life Reentry Project's mission is to advance multi-dimensional solutions to the effects of incarceration. They provide housing and support for formerly incarcerated women for successful community reentry, family reunification, and individual healing, they work to restore the civil rights of formerly incarcerated people, and they empower, organize, and mobilize formerly incarcerated people as advocates for social change and personal transformation.��


Pathway from Boys to Men
Pathway from Boys to Men works to provide resources and support to the underserved men, women, and youth in their community. They have found that the paths that lead to displacement, violence, drug addictions, or imprisonment can be changed by the fellowship of successful role models.


Better Youth
Better Youth, Inc.�s mission is to validate young people by developing life skills through mentoring and media arts training. Their general program target age range is 14-24 with an emphasis on foster/former foster, homeless and low-income youth.�


North Valley Caring Services
North Valley Caring Services is a nonprofit organization serving the residents in the Northeast San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles. Since their humble beginnings as a soup kitchen more than three decades ago, they have continued to adapt their services to the changing needs of the community. Today, NVCS is a model center for community empowerment, offering a wide array of programs to enable residents to lift themselves out of poverty, while also encouraging them to build a vision for their community's future.�

Children's Law Center of California
Children�s Law Center of California (CLC) is a non profit, public interest law firm that provides legal representation for tens of thousands of children impacted by abuse and neglect. They provide an unparalleled level of expertise in and out of the courtroom. Their highly skilled, passionate and committed attorneys, investigators, and support staff fight to ensure the well-being and future success of our clients through a multi-disciplinary, independent and informed approach to advocacy.�


Proyecto Pastoral
Proyecto Pastoral is a Boyle Heights-based community building organization working in the east side of Los Angeles and helps 5,000 children and families each year. They believe that effective solutions to community challenges must be designed and implemented in close partnership with our community residents.


1736 Family Crisis Center
1736 Family Crisis Center's mission is comprehensively to help children, women, men, and families in the greater Los Angeles area through crisis, including domestic violence, sexual assault, homelessness, joblessness, poverty, humsn trafficking, suicide ideation and attempts, addiction, post-traumatic stress, and emotional and life-survival challenges, thereby improving their prospects for long-term housing, psychological wellness, financial stability, and success. The agency serves approximately 6,000 individuals directly through in-depth residental and nonresidental programs, and 20,000 through educational and street outreach.


Seed House Project
Seed House Project (SHP) is a 501(c)(3) organization servicing transitional age youth (TAY) who are experiencing homelessness. The TAY community are young people aged 16 to 24 who are aging out of the foster care system or state custody, and experience added challenges developing into adulthood. SHP assists TAY communities experiencing homelessness by providing foundational support for three pillars of successful transition into adulthood: providing a home, supporting job skills training and placement, and creating personalized mentorships.


Children's Hospital Los Angeles
Children's Hospital Los Angeles is a nonprofit institution that provides pediatric health care and helps our patients more than half a million times each year in a setting designed just for their needs. Their history began in 1901 in a small house on the corner of Alpine and Castelar Streets (now Hill St. in Chinatown) and today their medical experts offer more than 350 pediatric specialty programs and services to meet the needs of patients.


Children's Center of Antelope Valley
The Children's Center of the Antelope Valley's Mission is to promote healing and provide protection from abuse through education and expert care for children and families in the Antelope Valley. The Center offers innovative, comprehensive prevention, intervention and treatment services and is the coordinating agency of multiple community partnerships involving both public and private agencies.�


Elizabeth House
Elizabeth House's mission is to empower pregnant and parenting women in need to reclaim their lives and build successful family legacies. They take a trauma-informed approach and address physical, emotional, spiritual, and economic needs in both women and their children
